Egg-Plants[1] are flowers that are found in the Yoshi franchise. These flowers normally spit out normal Yoshi Eggs, and are very common and appear in almost every level in their respective games. They spit out Yoshi Eggs one at a time, but if a YoshiGround Pounds near one, the plant will either shoot out several at once or start shooting them out more quickly. The Yoshi can also lick the eggs to catch them. Since the Yoshi can only carry six eggs each, the Egg-Plant won't produce more eggs anymore until the Yoshi uses one of the Yoshi Eggs on something.

The Egg-Plant's name comes from the eggplant, a type of fruit. It also shares its name with a type of nightshade (hence the appearance).

Some Egg-Plants known as Sanbo Flowers will spit out Needlenoses, but as long as a Yoshi has six eggs, it can't spit any out. There are four of these plants in the Island Museum. They can be viewed in the botanical enemy exhibit.

An unused variaton that spits out Bubbles was intended to appear, but was removed for unknown reasons.[2] Like the Bull's-Eye Bill, it is fully functional.

An Egg-Plant appears in the Super Mario-Kun volume 14, where it helps Mario, Yoshi, and Luigi by providing eggs in their fight against Burt the Bashful.

Mario maker 2 vs yoshi crafted world. Also, Mellow mode gives Yoshi wings for a breezier experience, which may come in handy!

In Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, Egg-Plants are knitted, and in replacement for eggs, they shoot out Yarn Balls of multiple colors. Egg-Plants appear less frequently in the game, with only a few appearances, including the Bonus Game. Notably, the game does not feature the variation that spits out Needlenoses due to the fact that they were replaced by Pokey Poms.

Egg-Plants reappear in Yoshi's Crafted World.

Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was packed with exciting announcements, including a brief shot of Persona 5’s Joker, who’s next in line to join the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate lineup.

Amongst these announcements were several free games and demos, which we’ve gathered below for your convenience. All items below are available through the Nintendo eShop.

  1. Boiling Hot!, Big Bungee Piranha's Lair, Moving Statues, Standing Statues, and Superhard Acrobatics. Bungee Piranhas reappear in Yoshi's Crafted World and behave the same way they did in Yoshi's Island DS. However, their stems are no longer spiky and can be passed through by Yoshi.
  2. The team had a few handicaps to overcome, starting with the smaller display. LBP was made to shine on a big HD screen, and its charming, hand-crafted vibe, as well as the incredible details and textures set this game apart from everything else out there. When you see LittleBigPlanet on.

First up is Chapter 1 of DELTARUNE, the sort-of-sequel-sort-of-antithesis to Toby Fox’s Undertale. It’s not available until the 28th of February but trust me: it’s worth the wait.

DELTARUNE follows the story of Kris, a human who lives in a world in harmony with monsters. Kris and their classmate Susie wind up in a place called the Dark World. Ralsei, an inhabitant of the Dark World, informs the duo that they’re heroes. They don’t take the news too well.

Yoshi

If you can’t wait until the 28th, Chapter 1 of DELTARUNE is available now on Windows and Mac for free. There’s also a PlayStation 4 port in the works.

Next up is the demo for DAEMON X MACHINA. Capital letters seems to be a recurring theme here. The Prototype Missions demo allows you to test yourself in four missions before fighting a boss and is available now.

DAEMON X MACHINA is an upcoming third-person shooter developed by Marvelous First Studio and released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. The game takes place after a moon smashed into a planet, radiating special energy that turns AI against humanity. You play as a customizable character who pilots a special mech to defeat enemies.

There’s no set release date for DAEMON X MACHINA right now, but it’s expected out around the summer of 2019.

Yoshi’s Crafted World has received an adorable little demo for what looks like one of the cutest Yoshi games to date. The game is a side-scrolling platform game that allows the player to ‘flip’ the camera, meaning the game can be viewed from two different angles.

Yoshi's Crafted World Little Big Planet

The story follows the Yoshis as they enjoy their life on Yoshi’s Island. Of course, Baby Bowser and Kamek appear and attempt to steal the island’s magical Sundream Stone. Gems are scattered across the world and it’s up to the Yoshis to recover them and save the day.

Yoshi’s Crafted World is due out on March 29th, 2019 at a price of $59.99. If you pre-purchase it now, you can receive up to 300 Gold Points via My Nintendo.

On the other end of the scale from the calming aura of Yoshi is Tetris 99, which is technically only free to Nintendo Switch Online members. However, if you’re not a member but you want to experience what can only be described as Tetris Battle Royale, you can get a 7 day free trial of the service.

The premise of the game is somewhat simple: there’s 99 players at the start and only 1 at the end. While I originally imagined the game to be like 99 Tetris blocks literally battling it out, it turns out it’s not that extreme. You just play a game of Tetris against 99 other players and hope that they don’t beat you before you beat them.

There’s also a free update for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on Switch, which adds two-player co-op to all the existing levels in the game. There’s also a paid DLC in the form of the Special Episode DLC which brings 18 new challenges to the game, including five brand-new courses.

The Special Episode DLC is due out on March 14th. The base game is available now from the Nintendo eShop for $39.99.

Yoshis crafted world the great king bowser. The surroundings are made of man-made material (kind of like the miniature world of Pikmin) and these are often used creatively like the taped boxes of Cheery Valley’s “Open, Shut!” or the mobiles of Outer Orbit’s “Ride the Stars”.Yoshi’s Crafted World is long and there is a lot of replay to it (each level has a number of flowers to collect in multiple run-throughs with “find” missions). Woolly World crafted Yoshi out of yarn and played with the idea of crafting and “homemade Yoshi”. This entry steps up the craft approach and creates worlds in a pop-up book fashion.
